About Dan Hanlon

Daniel Hanlon is a government affairs executive at ServiceNow, where he leads strategic engagement with Congress, the Executive Branch, and state and local officials to advance public sector modernization and digital transformation. Based in Washington, D.C., Daniel helps shape ServiceNow’s public-sector strategy in alignment with national policy priorities—especially in areas like AI, IT modernization, cybersecurity, and workforce transformation.

 

Prior to joining ServiceNow, Daniel served as Chief of Staff in both the U.S. Congress and the Executive Branch, where he advised senior political leadership, managed legislative and regulatory portfolios, and drove cross-agency coordination on high-impact federal initiatives. His government service includes senior roles at the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) during the Trump administration.

 

Daniel brings over a decade of experience at the intersection of policy, politics, and technology. He is known for building trusted relationships across the aisle, translating complex regulatory frameworks into actionable strategies, and helping public sector organizations operate with more agility and impact.
